Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
Comprehensive, objective IEEs that give families the information and confidence to advocate effectively for their child.
About Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
When families disagree with a school’s evaluation of their child, they have the right to request an Independent Educational Evaluation — an assessment conducted by a qualified professional outside of the school system. At Connected Path Clinicians, we provide thorough, objective IEEs that give families the information they need to advocate effectively for their child.
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is a comprehensive assessment of a student’s educational, communicative, or developmental needs, conducted by a qualified independent evaluator. IEEs may be requested at public expense when a parent disagrees with the school’s evaluation, or commissioned privately by families seeking an additional professional perspective.
Our evaluations are tailored to the individual and may span communication, language, social-emotional development, behavioral concerns, learning profiles, and more. We take a broad, case-by-case approach — ensuring each evaluation addresses the specific questions and concerns most relevant to your child’s educational needs.
